The C3E Initiative is led by the U.S. Department of Energy, the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory at Arizona State University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Energy Initiative, and Stanford University’s Precourt Institute for Energy.

Together, these partners guide C3E in promoting leadership that sparks innovation and contributes impact across the energy field. The initiative recognizes pioneers and emerging leaders whose work advances the future of American energy.

What We Do

SYMPOSIUM

The annual C3E Symposium brings together leaders and professionals from every segment of the energy sector to exchange ideas, celebrate achievements, and foster collaboration. The event encourages open dialogue and builds relationships that advance shared goals and practical solutions.

AWARDS

The C3E Awards celebrate mid-career professionals whose accomplishments demonstrate vision, excellence, and commitment to progress in energy. The program also spotlights women whose achievements inspire a new generation to pursue and excel in energy-related careers.

AMBASSADORS

The C3E Ambassador program unites distinguished senior leaders who serve as mentors, advocates, and role models for the next generation. Through guidance, collaboration, and public engagement, Ambassadors help strengthen the network of professionals driving innovation in energy.
